Purchase a tote bag featuring the painting "Shepherd Pup #1" by Patrice Clarkson. Our tote bags are made from soft, durable, poly-poplin fabric and include a 1" black strap for easy carrying on your shoulder. All seams are double-stitched for added durability. Each tote bag is machine-washable in cold water and is printed on both sides using the same image.

For many years after graduating from the Ontario College of Art my career was in Advertising. I was employed by publishers, printers, and ad agencies as well as being an in-house artist at a select set of businesses. I enjoyed working as a designer and illustrator, but as my career advanced, drawing slowly faded from the forefront, my focus being a steady paycheque. Some employers really had no idea that I could paint or for that matter, even draw. On vacation one summer, I decided to see if freelancing could be an option. Maybe get to do the kind of art I loved. I acquired a few projects, quit my full-time position and another phase of my life had begun.
